Melbourne Health and Nutrition Specialists (MHNS) has developed a series of workshops.
These will get you inspired to make a change and also increase your confidence and knowledge about how to achieve your ultimate health goals. Workshops will cover topics relating to exercise, nutrition, weight loss surgery and weight management psychology. There is a focus on lifestyle change for weight loss surgery, however anyone interested in improving their general health will benefit from attending. This will also a great venue for networking with peers on a similar journey to you and developing support groups.

Workshop two – “The Next Steps” – 11th of November 2017 – 1pm to 4:30 pm
This workshop focuses on the next steps after weight loss surgery. Become aware of the surgical options available to manage excess skin resulting from rapid weight loss. Learn new mindful eating skills to promote a lifelong healthy relationship with food. And hear from one of our long-term clients about her journey, her ups and downs and how she has adapted to her new way of life.

Workshop one – ” Back to Basics” – 24th of June 2017, from 1pm to 5pm.
Movement, Motivation and Meals focuses on the foundations for a healthy way of life. Separate fact from fiction and understand the scientific benefits of nutrition and exercise to provide focus and motivation for change. You will also learn how to make lifestyle changes realistic by simplifying some of the day to day tasks necessary to achieve your health goals.
